How to rehydrate SpongeBob

 

Day 1

  1. In a Quart Mason Jar, or equivalent, combine:
    • 1/2 cup room temperature water (filtered preferred)
    • 1 tablespoon water
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • Package of SpongeBob
  2. Swirl the jar a few times to allow the starter to dissolve.
  3. Lightly cover and let it sit for an hour.
  4. Swirl the jar a few more times.
  5. Lightly cover and let it sit for another hour hour.
  6. Stir in add 1/2 cup flour.
  7. Lightly cover.

Note: If it doesn’t start to bubble by the end of the day, give it a stir and let it sit for another day.

Day 2

  1. Stir in 1/4-1/2 cup flour with an equal amount of water.
  2. Lightly cover.

Day 3

  1. Stir in 1/4-1/2 cup flour with an equal amount of water.
  2. Lightly cover.

Day 4 onward

  1. Stir in 1/4-1/2 cup flour with an equal amount of water.
  2. Lightly cover.
